Trearddur Bay is situated within a couple of miles of the town of Holyhead on Anglesey. Trearddur Bay derives its name from the welsh for Arthur’s Town.
Undoubtedly one of Anglesey’s premier blue flag beaches, Trearddur Bay combines cleanliness with space. Depending on the time of the year, there is a vast amount of sand, and the sea is conducive with lots of water sports, including canoeing, surfboarding, and water skiing. There is ample accommodation available in the area, ranging from hotels, beautiful holiday homes to bed and breakfast accommodation.
Trearddur is small village in Anglesey, with a population of over 1,500.
There is a handfull of shops, including a Spa for essentials, as well as bike and paddle board hire close by. Holyhead golf club has 18 holes and is found on the road out of the bay. The RLNI has a station close to the beach.
